Tiffany Daugherty, LCSW, LCADC ...
Tiffany is a Kentucky native, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with extensive experience supporting individuals living with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Her professional work is strengthened by her own lived experiences, giving her a deep sense of empathy, authenticity, and respect for the courage it takes to seek help and create change.
With a career rooted in rural and community‑based treatment settings, Tiffany has supported individuals and families facing addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex life transitions. She is trained in trauma‑informed care and applies a wide range of evidence‑based practices. Therapeutic orientation is holistic, integrating mind, body, and spirit. She draws from both Eastern philosophies and Western psychotherapies to help clients work in the present moment, explore their internal experiences, and reshape unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Her work is grounded in strengths-based, feminist, family systems, and person‑in‑environment (PIE) theories, helping the client own their strengths, resilience, and find the interconnected nature of personal, social, and environmental factors.
Above all, Tiffany is committed to providing accessible, client‑centered care. She strives to create a therapeutic space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

Laura Slaughter, LCSW, LCADC ...
With over two decades of dedicated service in the mental health field, Laura Slaughter, LCSW, LCADC, brings a profound depth of expertise to her clinical practice. Her diverse professional journey began with a decade-long focus on dual-diagnosis treatment, where she navigated the complex intersection of mental health and substance use disorders across residential, long-term, and outpatient settings. For the past ten years, Laura has transitioned into private practice, specializing in helping individuals navigate the intricate path of healing from complex trauma.
Highly skilled in evidence-based interventions, Laura is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). While she utilizes a versatile toolkit of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, her practice is anchored by a core philosophy: while techniques are essential, the most transformative healing occurs within the safety and trust of the therapeutic relationship. Her approach combines clinical rigor with a compassionate, relational foundation, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and supported in their recovery journey.
Nancy L. Gilmer, LPCC, QMHP ...
I believe therapy is at its best when we treat you as a whole person. No matter what brings you to therapy, with your permission, we will explore your thinking, your body aches and pains, and your spiritual path, which is the essential you at the deepest level. Naturally, I will follow your lead.
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health and substance use therapist, I tend to blend Eastern Philosophies, such as The Tao, with Western Psychotherapies, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to work in the here and now to explore, reframe, and modify unhealthy thinking and behaviors to reach your treatment goals. I expect our therapeutic relationship to be collaborative.
I specialize in Mindfulness Practice/Meditation & Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), both of which can increase your ability to significantly reduce daily stressors, anxiety, panic, and self-doubt. Learning to live in the moment without judgment can free you from unnecessary stress and worry. ART provides a means of changing unhealthy thinking and behaviors by eliminating or minimizing the fear, anxiety, and the negative emotions effects of trauma.
